The "hotel zone" is on the north side of town along the coast with it's golden beaches. Next is a popular area just north of The Hotel Zone, The Yacht & Boat Marina with shops and restaurants, top hotels and a golf course. Nuevo Vallarta continues on to the north with prestigious residential neighborhoods, modern shopping malls, several great golf courses and resorts. You will never go hungry here with hundreds of restaurants ranging from taco stands to fine gourmet establishments. The seafood is always fresh and wonderful as well as the "international" fare. There are many types of tours and attractions for singles and families. Puerto Vallarta is a very special place in our book!
Rosarito Beach (Playas de Rosarito):
Located just 20 minutes south of the
U.S./Mexico Border. As you drive down the four lane highway, the view of the tranquil Pacific Ocean is breathtaking. You feel a sense of relaxation almost immediately.
Once you establish a comfortable arrangement in one of our properties, Rosarito offers a variety of options when it comes to dining out. El Nido, Ortegas, Calafia, Rosarito Beach Hotel and Porto Fino, just to mention a few fine restaurants with casual bars, to spend a comfortable lunch or dinner. Of course there are many great restaurantes serving sumptuous breakfasts and a wide selection of taco shops with delicious assortments for everyone, even hamburgers (hamburquesas). Puerto Nuevo, just south of Rosarito, is famous for it’s lobster and fresh seafood.
Many major U. S. stores and services, including Cineplex, State of the Art Movie Theaters, are now
available in the area.
From January through March thousands of California Gray Whales cruise the ocean waters, a special show on their journey to Bahia de Ballenas. Sport fishing is available at Salinas Port and Ensenada Port (deep sea fishing). The Real del Mar Marriott Golf Course offers magnificent views as you enjoy the game with family and friends. There’s Bajamar Golf Resort, located south of Rosarito and just north of Ensenada. Tennis players will be glad to know that La Paloma Condominiums has 4 lighted courts, and is centrally located. Other hotels offer tennis facilities as well. Rosarito is a safe playground for visitors, vacationer's and tourist looking for a nice change of pace.

The location is in close proximity to the shopping, restaurants and night life of downtown Rosarito, to the north of Las Olas, but just minutes away from the noise for your comfort and relaxation. To the south you will find many shops, restaurants, hotels, Fox Studios and approximately a 1 1/2 hour scenic coastal drive to Ensenada.

Directions: After you cross through the US/Mexican Border follow the signs to Rosarito (Playas de Rosarito) / Playas Tijuana and continue south on the Tijuana - Ensenada Toll Road (approximately $2.50 usd). The rates vary with the value of the Peso to the Dollar. Stay on the Toll Road, just past the "downtown" Rosarito area until you see the La Paloma Exit sign. There is a Pemex gas station at the exit. Exit the Toll Road and continue driving south on the "free road" for approximately one block. You will see the seven story Las Olas building on the right side (ocean side) of the the highway.
Come and spend a couple nights, a week or more and you'll return. You will want to come back again and again. Volver, Volver, Volver!
